Statement of Faith

We Believe:
  • the bible is the inspired & infallible word of God & the supreme authority in all matters
  • there is one God, eternally existent in three separate persons, God the Father, God the Son & God the Holy Spirit
  • in the deity of Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His vicarious & atoning death, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, His personal future return to earth in power & glory
  • in the 'Blessed Hope', the rapture of the Church and Christ's visible second coming with His saints to reign on earth for 1,000 years
  • the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the saving power of Christ's blood shed on the cross
  • regeneration by the holy Spirit is absolutely essential for personal salvation
  • the redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides healing of the human body in answer to believing prayer
  • the baptism of the Holy Spirit, according to Acts 2:4 is given to all believers who ask for it, The baptism is witnessed by the initial physical evidence of speaking with other tongues as the Spirit of God gives them utterance. With the baptism also comes the endowment of power for life and service & the bestowment of the gifts of the Holy Spirit and their uses in the work of ministry
  • in Water Baptism by immersion as commanded by scripture. All who repent & believe on Christ as Savior & Lord are to be baptized, thus declaring that they have died with Christ and that they also have been raised with Him to walk in newness of life
  • the Lord's Supper, consisting of the elements of bread and the fruit of the vine as a memorial of His suffering & death
  • in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy life
  • in the resurrection of the saved and the lost, one to everlasting life, the other to everlasting damnation
  • that Christianity, when lived like Jesus taught, is the most fulfilling, exciting, joyful, peaceful, positive, thrilling, lifestyle one could possibly experience and that one's true potential can never be reached outside of this vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ
  • the believer's Commission to 'go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature confirming the word with signs & wonders
