I apologize for not responding earlier to your comment but this`comment` section is a new feature and I was not able to figure out the in`s and out`s with this dinosaur of a laptop that I have.
We need to remember that there are basic fundamental forces of simple a part of nature and then there are also supernatural forces that can influence the winds and the waves and elements. There are many references to both in scripture. One place in particular is in First Kings chapter 19 where there was a windstorm and then a fire, then an earthquake. It says that God was NOT in the fire, or windstorm or earthquake.
At other times, such as in Numbers chapter 16, it was God that `sent the earthquake and swallowed them alive`.
Regardless of the source BEHIND the elements, God has absolute dominion over them all. Jesus, in a boat that was being plummeted by the waves of the sea, to the point where the disciples feared that they would sink, simply spoke to the waves and said, "Peace, be still"
I do not know what forces were behind the tornados at Braeside but I know for a fact that IT WAS GOD that intervened supernaturally on that day and spared the lives of the people here. It is impossible to believe, with these humungous rees falling all around, that not one person was hurt in any way and lives were spared.
We know that the `enemy` comes to kill, steal and destroy and that it is not in satan`s nature to spare lives. It is also satan that wants to destroy all and everyone and everything that God has created...... therefore Jude verse 12 tells us to `stay always within the boundaries where God`s love can reach you and bless you."
