Great article, I was one of those parents that let my children go out and trick or treat as long as they did not wear anything bad, I spent many hours sewing the nicest costumes and supervised everyhome they went into, only nice neighbors etc. and only people I knew. But one year I took my daughter to another neighborhood where my friend from church lived and there I saw it......... for what it really was, It is the night for Satan and we better believe it, there was a beautiful woman dressed in a cape with something in her hand but it looked real like what a princess carries, I think its called a scepter, and her face had pure evil all over it, so much so, I took my daughters face and turned it towards my body so she would not look at her, the woman looked at me with hatred, its like she knew I am one of "HIS" and as we were ahead of her going to the different homes, I decided that would be it, I didn`t take my daughteer out ever again, I have to say I let her go to a party after that, but the Lord has really convicted me. My daughter still gets asked to go to these parties she is an adult now but she knows why she cannot attend, it is shocking to see our churches still supporting this holiday, maybe they think the way I did, that if we don`t dress up bad, or call it halloween, it`s o.k. It has been many years since then and I still can remember my encounter with a real life witch, and realize they are walking among us.
