HALLELUJAH AND AMEN!!!!

I am SO glad to see someone else "preaching this message" – because so few do! God’s love is unconditional, but each of His promises carries a condition… and until we fulfill that condition, the promise just sits there waiting for us to do what God told us to do!

For years, I lived on Psalm 37:4 – "Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart." … but none of my "desires" happened. Then – after God took me through the very painful journey of what I call His "Faith 101" course – I discovered that I’d actually only been giving lip service to delighting myself in the Lord. When I finally began to truly delight myself in the Lord, I couldn’t keep up with all the blessings that were coming my way! And He’s still doing the same today…

Granted, that does not mean that He stopped the trials – in fact, in the past 7 months, my husband and I have been under attack by the enemy to a degree that convinces us that we must be doing something really right (he’s gone berserk, in fact, and come at us from every direction with as severe attacks as he can come up with) – BUT the Lord is going to do something awesome in our life sometime soon. We just have to keep our faith strong, not fall down, and be ready to encourage others when they go through similar trials. (Luke 22:31-32)… and keep doing everything we can to glorify God with our lives!

Again, hallelujah and amen! Thanks for this awesome message!

I LOVE THIS MESSAGE!

Hi Donna:
Glad to hear such a balanced reply to a false, heretical theory I have heard over many years. Within the Pastorate I tried to bring balance like you have done here to similar professions of so called "faith" I heard people making. Unfortunately I have found people will believe what they want to believe with or without the Scriptures. I recall one person actually saying to me, "don`t confuse me with the Scriptures, I know what I believe." Such is life. Still, one must continue to say it like it really is and not what some mistakenly believe is a sugar daddy type of God.
Isn`t the love, supply, and wonderment of our great God and Saviour simply grand without adding to what is already there? I find it is. Our great God never leaves me empty, or wondering about his love. He is simply always there.
Keep up the good work Donna.
Blessings,
Kervan C.

Right on again. I really appreciate your diligence, faithfulness and consistency with this column, Donna. You`re doing a great job.
Please give Darko a New Year`s hug for me and then get him to give you one for me!
I pray that God will bless every aspect of your life this year.
Much love always,
D.

Dear Donna:

Awesome article this month. Matthew 6:23 shall become our constant prayer as you have rightly pointed out the power of this Scripture. Thank you.

Blessings to you and your family in 2009!

With His highest for your utmost, I remain...

Sincerely yours,

Gary

Dear Donna:

This is a great article!!! I think the Lord would be happy with your efforts to keep His children on the right path. Too many people indeed have lost the "if" ....just as you wrote. We have a huge responsibility to do our part. And, it is not easy. We can get sidetracked very quickly.

Joshua 1:8 and Matthew 6 :33 are among my favorite scripture verses. They keep me grounded and focused and hopeful.
It will be helpful to me to use this article as a devotional...to read in the morning to remind me of what I need to stay focused on for the day.

Job well done !! Thank you for the spiritual guidance.

Bless you,
Marcia
